Jonathan Barber
Biography
Jonathan Barber is entering his third year as the goalkeeper coach for MNUFC2. The Staffordshire, England-native played with Bury and Hartlepool of the EPL League 2 until he stopped playing to begin his coaching career at the young age of 21, with his first role being with Crewe Alexandra in the EPL League 2 and League 1. He became the head of goalkeeping for the academy, coaching the U9-reserves and first team for five years before joining Minnesota United. Barber grew up in soccer, playing with the Bolton Wanderers Academy until he was 16 and with his father Fred Barber, a professional player and coach in the EPL for 18 years.
