Minnesota United will host a back-to-school drive at its September 9 home match against Philadelphia Union at TCF Bank Stadium. The supplies collected will be donated to St. Paul Public Schools, the district that is home to Minnesota United’s future home, Allianz Field. Fans who donate will receive a buy-one-get-one ticket offer* that can be used at the box office on the day of the Philadelphia Union match, or for either of the team’s last two home matches on September 23 against FC Dallas or on October 7 against Sporting Kansas City.
MNUFC will also partner with St. Paul Public Schools to take a student shopping for school supplies with Minnesota United players at a local Target on Tuesday, September 5.
Fans are encouraged to bring school and classroom supplies and drop them at designated locations outside of Gates E and D at TCF Bank Stadium. Examples of items to bring include: tissues, hand sanitizer, hand soap, glue, notebooks, snacks/prizes, construction paper, markers, cleaning wipes, books, safety scissors, calculators, etc.
Minnesota United’s next home match is a tilt with Philadelphia Union on Saturday, September 9 at TCF Bank Stadium. The teams kick off at 7:00 p.m. 41 years of soccer in Minnesota means $41 gets you a deposit on season tickets for 2018 at TCF Bank Stadium — and seating priority for 2019 at Allianz Field.
