Williamson was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes with the 12th pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft. The forward spent the 2021 season on loan to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL Championship where he played 27 games, scoring six goals in his first professional season. The Cal-State Berkley graduate played three seasons with the Bears and was a standout in his junior year in 2019, scoring a career-high nine goals on the season while earning All PAC-12 and PAC-12 All-American Honorable Mention honors.
