Surly’s Rising North is back

Production and packaging of Surly’s Rising North Pale Ale began this afternoon at the Brooklyn Center Brewery.

Minnesota United CEO Chris Wright and broadcasters Kyndra de St. Aubin, Callum Williams and Jamie Watson were part of a group that got a behind-the-scenes look at how Rising North Pale Ale is brewed, canned and boxed.

Wright chatted with Surly Brewing founder, Omar Ansari, as the group sampled fresh cans of the pale ale right off the conveyer belt after their tour.

“We had a fantastic time at Surly Brewing this afternoon being a part of the Rising North first day of packaging,” said de St. Aubin. “All the people there were great hosts and we had a blast. It’s amazing the intricacy and the energy and the time that they put into the product. And not just making the beer, but the canning process and the design — making sure that the Loon and Minnesota United are represented. We loved being out there, and appreciated them taking the time to show us around.”
