Minnesota United today announced a multi-year partnership with two Minnesota-based companies, Star Tribune Media Co. and Taylor Communications. The two companies will be the presenting partners of the Roof Deck at Allianz Field. The Roof Deck is a showpiece of the stadium and prominently features both brands.
Located on the north end of the stadium, the Allianz Field Roof Deck will be a social destination for 250 fans with perfect views of the pitch. The Roof Deck will be the ultimate community experience for large groups of fans on match days.
“An aspect of our partnership strategy is to have deep relationships with Minnesota and Upper Midwest businesses who truly reflect our underpinning values,” said Minnesota United CEO Chris Wright. “Both Taylor Communications and Star Tribune have been a major piece of the fabric of our community for decades. We are proud to partner with these two Minnesota icons.”
For these two Minnesota-based companies, the partnership displays a continued investment in support of local organizations and communities.
Star Tribune, a long-tenured partner of the club, has been a leader in covering the growth of soccer in Minnesota at all levels, and has expanded its coverage as Minnesota United moved into MLS.
“Wherever Minnesotans gather to pursue their passions, Star Tribune is there,” said Steve Yaeger, Star Tribune vice president and chief marketing officer. “Our expanded partnership with Minnesota United — independent of our newsroom’s comprehensive coverage of the team — lets Star Tribune connect with some of Minnesota’s most ardent sports fans, in the region’s most exciting new venue. Scarves up!”
A deeply-rooted Minnesota company, Taylor Communications is expanding their support of Minnesota sports by joining Minnesota United as a new partner this season.
“As a Minnesota company with a rich history supporting Minnesota’s sports teams, Taylor Communications is proud to support Minnesota United FC. We are excited for the 2019 season at the new Allianz Field,” said Deb Taylor, CEO, Taylor Corporation.
In support of the Twin Cities business community, Taylor Communications will be the presenting partner of the annual MNUFC Chamber Luncheon on May 1, 2019 with both the St. Paul and Minneapolis Chambers hosted at Allianz Field.
