Minnesota United has sold and distributed more than 50,000 tickets for its final home match at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday, October 21.
MNUFC kicks off against the visiting LA Galaxy on Sunday, October 21 to close out two years of MLS action at TCF Bank Stadium before moving to Allianz Field for 2019. With Allianz Field’s capacity at 19,400 when it opens, this is the last chance to shatter a record that has stood for more than 40 years, ever since a crowd of 49,572 fans came to Metropolitan Stadium to watch the Minnesota Kicks beat the San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 and win the NASL Conference Championship.
The Loons are now set to break the long-held attendance record with more than 50,000 tickets already accounted for and will look to end a successful home-field advantage at TCF Bank Stadium on a high note, both on the field and in the stands.
To help celebrate reaching the goal of #50kToMidway at its final home match of the 2018 regular season, Minnesota United is featuring throwback pricing on concessions at Stadium Snacks and Goldy’s Grill locations at TCF Bank Stadium, including $2 hot dogs, $1 popcorn, $.75 small fountain sodas and more.
