Minnesota United and Delaware North today announced new and returning food and beverage partners for the 2020 MLS season at Allianz Field.
“Building on the incredible success of our 2019 food and beverage story, we want to continue to provide our fans with diverse options that fit the global nature of our sport,” said MNUFC CEO Chris Wright. “We’ve enhanced even further our relationship with local vendors, Delaware North and Justin Sutherland to improve and elevate our food and beverage offerings for 2020.”
After a successful 2019, the Allianz Field food and beverage program is introducing new options for fans to enjoy this season. New partners this year include The Freehouse, Grand Ole Creamery and Captain Morgan. The Freehouse will have a portable concession stand and feature items such as their popular Roto-Bird Baguette. Grand Ole Creamery will offer four popular flavors including a dairy-free option in their Raspberry Sorbet. Fans can find Captain Morgan, official rum of Minnesota United, served throughout the stadium. Cub and Summit Brewing Co. paired up to create the Cub Summit EPA Beer Brat, a collaboration between two club partners, served at the Cub Grill portable concession stand, along with the new Juicy Lucy sausage.
Minnesota United fans will see returning stadium favorites such as Stoli Moscow Mule, Freschetta Pizza in Nice Slice Pizza and the MyBurger Double Cheeseburger with Cloverdale Applewood Bacon. Brasa will now feature a Burrito of the Month, with rotating options served throughout the season, limited supply only. Also new, the North Star Deli will feature a vegetarian option in the Pulled BBQ Jack Fruit Sandwich. Official Culinary Consultant of MNUFC and Celebrity Chef Justin Sutherland will now feature a new option from his restaurant Gray Duck Tavern, the Swedish Meatball Sub.
From the beginning, Minnesota United has understood that the food and beverage program at Allianz Field would be second only to the game itself in terms of importance. With this in mind, the food and beverage program has been built around themes that resonate with Minnesota’s heritage, the stadium’s Saint Paul location, and the diverse culture of soccer and the game’s fanbase. Allianz Field is committed to providing quality food that reflects the diversity of soccer and our own multicultural community while being delivered in an efficient and friendly way and engaging local people, businesses, products and resources whenever possible.
