Minnesota United players visited Ronald McDonald House Charities on Friday, to help kick off their Shamrock Shake fundraiser.
Christian Ramirez, Brent Kallman, Miguel Ibarra, Patrick McLain, Kevin Venegas and PK the Loon posed for pictures with children and their families, and then formed an assembly line, producing Shamrock Shakes for the event’s attendees.
After the kids finished their shakes, the group headed down to the House gym and participated in some free play soccer to burn off the ice cream.
“Because we playing at TCF Bank Stadium,” said Kevin Venegas, “the University of Minnesota Ronald McDonald House is one of our neighbors. It was so great of them to welcome us into their organization to be a part of their fundraiser, and I really enjoyed meeting some of the residents of the house. They’re truly inspirational.”
