The Twosies were down but never out in their most recent match against Sporting Kansas City II last weekend. Two goals in the first 23 minutes saw the hosts start hot, but there was more to the story. A pair of strikes during first-hal stoppage time saw the Loons go into the break on level terms, leaving all to play for in the second half. MNUFC2 kept rolling in the second half, scoring two more goals to secure an exciting and convincing three points on the road with a 4-2 come-from-behind win. While it kept their playoff dreams alive at the time, results elsewhere subsequently eliminated the Twos from qualifying for this season's playoffs. Despite being knocked out of postseason contention, there's still plenty to play for on Friday night. It will be their final game in Blaine for the 2024 season and a prime opportunity to play in front of the Black and Blue faithful and end the season on a high. Pups at the Pitch
For the first time EVER, MNUFC is letting the goodest boys and girls into the match. That's right, it's Pups at the Pitch night, so bring your four-legged friends on over to Section 16 and fill out your waivers when you get to the match. We're limiting you to one dog per person, and that dog has to be older than six months—and on a leash. Lots of rules, but trust us, it's going to be fun. Who doesn't want to watch soccer with a bunch of dogs, right?! We'll have water bowls and special giveaways from presenting sponsor NutriSource. Parking
Free parking at the National Sports Center will be available in Lots F and G and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tailgating
Tailgating is back at NSC! While we recommend Lot F for any pre-match fellowship, there is no designated area to stick to. We simply ask that fans who plan to take advantage of this opportunity abide by the following restrictions:
- No glass
- No charcoal
- No feeding any wildlife
- Trash and recycling must be properly disposed of
- Alcohol must remain in Lots F and G
Gates
Fans should plan to enter the NSC Stadium via the North Gate. There will only be one entry gate available on game day, opening 1 hour prior to kickoff.
Ticketing
Tickets are online purchase only. If you don't have tickets ahead of gametime, there will be QR codes posted on signs by the gates of NSC for fans to use to purchase their tickets.
Security Screening and Bag Policy
Standard MNUFC screening procedures will be in place for MNUFC2 games at the National Sports Center. Each guest will be subject to walk through a magnetometer, and guests with bags will be asked to open their bags for a brief search. The clear-bag policy will not be enforced at the National Sports Center Stadium. All bags that are 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller will be allowed into the stadium. Guests with diaper bags or medical bags will have their bags checked and then tagged, but will not have size restrictions. There will not be a bag check service available for games played at the National Sports Center. Any guests with non-admissible bags will be asked to return their bags to their car.
Food & Beverage
Grab-and-go concession items will be available for purchase inside the stadium, including chips and peanuts. There will also be beer, soda and water available to pair with your snacks.
Cashless Purchasing
For the safety of those attending matches, all ticket and in-stadium purchases will be conducted in a touchless manner.
Autograph Alley
MNUFC2 players will be signing autographs on their way back to the locker room after the match. Fans that want to score some signatures should meet behind sections 3 and 4 of the seating bowl, where they will be guided down to the autograph area by event staff. Fans of all ages are invited to participate.
Postgame PKs
Once the players have cleared the field after Autograph Alley, fans between the ages of 3 and 15 will have the chance to take a PK on the very same turf that the team plays on. After signing a waiver, participants gathered behind sections 3 and 4 of the seating bowl will be guided down to the field by event staff.
