Game Central
Game presented by Allina Health:
Minnesota United is back in action after the bye week and back at Allianz Field this Saturday for the 2023 home opener against the New York Red Bulls. Thanks to a goal from Mender GarcÃa in the 48th minute and a dominant defensive performance, the Loons enter their home opener with a win and a clean sheet to their name. New York hasn't had the same luck so far, opening the season with a tight road loss to Orlando and a scoreless draw at home to Nashville. When the Loons met the Red Bulls last season, goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair’s standout performance pushed MNUFC to a 1-0 win on the road and earned himself the starting spot in goal. With revenge on New York's radar and a hunger for their first win of the season, the Loons need to remain ready for battle at Allianz Field on Saturday.
