The Loons launched back into regular season action with a road match against LAFC last weekend. Though the game ended in a 1-0 loss, a solid first half saw Kelvin Yeboah and Tani Oluwaseyi threatening the hosts at the business end of the Loons' 5-3-2, while a stellar defensive effort kept Denis Bouanga away from the net. After hitting the post early and being denied by the crossbar in the closing minutes of the match, the Black and Blue couldn't find a breakthrough, making Jeremy Ebobisse's 78th-minute strike the difference-maker in this hotly contested season opener. Now, MNUFC looks to earn their first three points of the season against CF Montréal this Saturday at Allianz Field. Montréal will likewise be looking for redemption after their thrilling 3-2 loss to Atlanta on Matchday 1, and if that performance is anything to go by, they're going to present quite the threat. In-Game Honors
The pregame ceremony will include a national anthem performance from Monique Blakey. Jaeden Danko will be honored as the Allina Scoreboard Keeper of the Game, and Shane Petrich will be recognized as our SeatGeek Fan of the Game. Additionally, Leo the German shepherd will be honored as the NutriSource Superstar. MNUFC will also honor Susan Murray as the Target L'Étoile du Nord, and Fred Collins will be recognized as the Xcel Energy Eye of the Loon.

Pop It and Drop It
Make sure to pop and drop the pop tabs from your canned beverages at Allianz Field. Collection bins for pop tabs are available throughout the stadium on the side of trash bins. Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community, as we raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest. Pop tab collection bins will now be available outside the gates of Allianz Field so fans can bring tabs from home!
Reduce Your Waste with Biz Recycling and WM Organics
Help Allianz Field limit the amount of waste produced on gamedays by sorting your waste into the Biz Recycling and WM organics, recycling or trash receptacles.
Ecolab Water Stations
As part of a stadium-wide water sustainability effort in partnership with Ecolab, MNUFC has six water bottle refill stations around the concourse sections 9, 15, 21, 25, 30, and 36. Bring in empty, clear plastic bottles to use at the water stations. They're not sensor activated, so make sure to press the button to save the planet and your dignity.
