Your ever-so-consistent Loons are going into Matchday 10 on an eight-game unbeaten streak that has pushed them to third in the West with 16 points to their name, right in line with second-place Austin FC. As they take to the pitch at Allianz Field across from Vancouver, they’re looking at scaling their biggest challenge yet. That’s right, folks: It’s time to put on “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus and get ready for some electric top-of-the-conference play.
The ‘Caps currently sit at the top of the Supporters’ Shield standings with 20 points. Their unbeaten streak in regular season play is half of the Loons’ at four (six, if you factor in Concacaf Champions Cup play), but 2.22 ppg and 17 goals total feels a bit daunting. Luckily for us, we’ve got home-field advantage, a solid starting lineup, and Lake Superior levels of depth. A tight schedule places the ‘Caps showdown with the Loons between two CCC semifinal matchups, opening up the possibility of some heavier rotation than usual, but expect an exciting battle regardless of who Vancouver puts in the starting XI.
March to the Match
Ready to get hyped up for the game alongside other loyal Loons? Join the inaugural Wonderwall March to the Match by meeting at The Calling loon sculpture at 12:45 p.m. From there, you’ll make your way to the Bell Bank SW Entrance and into the stadium to cheer on the team. All fans are encouraged to join the fun, and Sections 21–23 in the Supporters Section will be reserved for those of you in the Wonderwall.
2025 Artist Collection
MNUFC is excited to launch its first-ever Artist Collection in collaboration with Modern Day Me, a creative consultancy that connects artists and businesses to build community presence. Each of these local artists’ work will launch in conjunction with a Minnesota United theme game. For this week’s Black Excellence Game, we’re happy to feature Antione Jenkins, a local painter who blends intuition and strategy to create immersive experiences. Antione will be doing a live art exhibition on the concourse before the game, and his painting will stay on display for the duration of the match. Check out his custom-designed T-shirt and scarf in the Black and Blue Team Store!
Small Business Spotlight
We’re proud to put the spotlight on Get Down Coffee Co., a Black-owned coffee company roasting and selling its own coffee locally. Learn more about the awesome work Get Down Coffee and its owner Houston White are doing in the North Minneapolis Community (and enjoy some Get Down Coffee in the premium areas).
In-Game Honors
The pregame ceremony will include performances of both of the U.S. and Canadian national anthems, plus a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Amal Ali of Abbott Northwestern Hospital will be honored as the Allina Scoreboard Keeper of the Game, and Darryl Savage will be recognized as our SeatGeek Fan of the Game. Additionally, emotional support dog Arya will be honored as the NutriSource SuperStar. MNUFC will also honor Leika Pierre-Louis of Small Sums as the Target L'Étoile du Nord and Joel Moncada of the U.S. Army National Guard as the Xcel Energy Eye of the Loon.

Specialty Cocktail of the Match: Yuzu Whiskey Smash
Fans 21+ can try out our Specialty Cocktail of the Match, the Yuzu Whiskey Smash, at the Brew Hall. In support of pollinator education and preservation, Delaware North is also offering the Bee’s Harvest Margarita to celebrate Earth Month.
Pop It and Drop It
Make sure to pop and drop the pop tabs from your canned beverages at Allianz Field. Collection bins for pop tabs are available throughout the stadium on the side of trash bins. Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community, as we raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest. Pop tab collection bins will also be available outside the gates of Allianz Field if you’d like to bring tabs from home.
Reduce Your Waste with Biz Recycling and WM Organics
Help Allianz Field limit the amount of waste produced on gamedays by sorting your waste into the Biz Recycling and WM organics, recycling or trash receptacles.
Ecolab Water Stations
As part of a stadium-wide water sustainability effort in partnership with Ecolab, MNUFC has six water bottle refill stations around the concourse sections 9, 15, 21, 25, 30, and 36. Bring in empty, clear plastic bottles to use at the water stations. They're not sensor activated, so make sure to press the button to save the planet and your dignity.

To better ensure fan safety and expedite entry to the stadium, Allianz Field has a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that can be brought into the stadium.
