The Twosies got back to their winning ways on Sunday, with their first game back at home in three weeks. Justin McMaster kicked off the scoring in the 27th minute, with a beautiful half volley off of an Aziel Jackson assist. Portland pushed for a comeback, and they were able to notch one, but the Loons kept them contained. After scoring two more goals in the second half, the Loons secured a 3-1 win. This week, the Loons are on the road to Colorado for their second to last away game of the season. It's going to be a late night for the Loons, with a 10:59 kick off time scheduled right after the first team at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. So far this season, Minnesota has dominated against Rapids 2 with 5-1 and 4-0 final scorecards. While the Twosies have had a lot of success against Colorado, it should be noted that both wins have come at home. The altitude in Colorado always tests any team, and will provide the home side with an advantage that MNUFC2 will need to overcome.
