Minnesota United is hosting a feminine care drive at the Black and Blue Team Store at Allianz Field in honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day.
The drive will take place starting Wednesday, March 10 through Saturday, March 13, from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Fans are welcome to donate items such as panty liners, sanitary napkins, adult diapers, feminine wipes, body wash, deodorant, body lotion, vaginal ointment and ovulation and pregnancy tests. The donations will benefit women’s shelters in Saint Paul that support victims and survivors of domestic abuse while working toward a community free from violence. Bins will be located inside the Black and Blue Team Store, and those bringing a donation will receive a 10% discount off their purchase in the store that day.
Additionally, throughout the month of March, Minnesota United will hold a variety of initiatives to highlight the contributions of women and support those in our community.
Register Round-Up at the Black and Blue Team Store at Allianz Field
The Black and Blue Team Store will be running a Register Round-Up, where shoppers can round-up their purchase to the nearest dollar to donate to the Women’s Initiative for Self Empowerment (WISE). Located in the Midway neighborhood, WISE’s mission is to empower immigrant and refugee women and girls to succeed through advocacy and culturally competent services.
