Minnesota United’s Development Academy U15s traveled to face Cincinnati United Premier this past weekend in a game that kicked off early on Saturday morning.

Cincinnati leapt out to a lead just after the second half whistle when Brock Kiper netted a goal for the home side in the 41st minute. Alen Kapic would double the lead less than ten minutes later when he fired one in in the 50th minute. Minnesota United’s Cullen Connaker would cut the deficit in half with a strike in the 77th minute, but the comeback would come up short with the Lil’ Loons falling 2-1 in the end.
The U15s return to the friendly confines of NSC in two weeks for a game on Saturday, April 13 against visiting Saint Louis FC at 9:30 a.m. The U13s will face Cincinnati United Premier that same day in Blaine at 9:30 a.m., with the U14s facing off their opposite numbers from the same academy at 11:00 a.m.
