It’s that time of year again! A time when people can pause and reflect on their communities – on that beautiful collaboration of different backgrounds. The international break reminds us that we are more connected than we believe, and as the world’s sport, soccer especially demonstrates the importance of diversity and inclusion. In celebration of that, Minnesota United will be lighting Allianz Field with the flag colors of its first-team players. From June 13-20, a rotating schedule of colors will be brilliantly displayed – some even lining up with the matches occurring that evening.
Below is a schedule of the countries represented, so fans will be able to celebrate alongside Minnesota United by enjoying the flag colors on the stadium these next few days. Look for your favorite flags, snap some pictures, and above all, remember what this all represents.
