On April 13, Minnesota United plays its first game inside of Allianz Field. At long last, professional soccer in Minnesota has a new and permanent home and we’ve got some information to help you get settled in.
One of the biggest complaints we get on gameday is about the clear bag policy, and we hear you. We know it's inconvenient. But the clear bag policy serves two key purposes: it ensures better safety at the stadium on gameday and it streamlines the arrival process. Please help us spread the word, because if you bring a bag that doesn't follow the clear bag rules, you'll have to check it, and that's even less convenient.
Minnesota United encourages fans not to bring a bag. The following, however, are permitted:
- One clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" or a one-gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).
- Guests may carry a small clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5" x 4.5" (approximately the size of a hand), with or without a strap.
- Diaper bags that are no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"
Bag check will be available for $10 per bag, located at Sterling Hall, Midpointe Event Center, near the northeast corner of Allianz Field. Remember to arrive early at Allianz Field for the home opener to enjoy Target’s Bullseye Fan Zone on the north side of the stadium and other activities beginning at noon.
