We know what you’re thinking. “Wow, the MNUFC app is incredible. Quite possibly the most life-changing mobile application I have ever encountered. I can’t possibly imagine how it could be any better.” Oh, but see that’s where you’re mistaken. We’re constantly adding new features to the app, and we bet there are at least a few you aren’t familiar with yet. Here’s a rundown of how to take advantage of a few of our favorites.
First things first, let’s get you an account created. That’ll allow you to hook up your tickets, save your preferences, and even upload a fun little profile picture. Here’s how:
- Click on the hamburger icon in the top left corner
- Scroll to the bottom of menu
- Click on “My Account”
- Click the “Sign Up” button
- Complete the form and click the “Next” button
- You will be directed to add additional information. Click submit and you're in!
Once you've created your account, the next thing you should do is link your SeatGeek account, which will allow you to easily access your MNUFC tickets for gameday. Here’s how to do that:
- Click on the ticket icon in the top right corner
- Click “Manage Tickets”
- Click “Log in with SeatGeek”
- Click “Continue” when notified that "MNUFC wants to use SeatGeek.com to sign in."
- Finish signing in with your SeatGeek account
Next up, flip those notifications on. Decide if you want to receive breaking team news, in-game updates, special deals and more. While you’re there, you can also enable your location sharing. We won’t use it for anything creepy, we promise. We’ll only use it for things like sending you location-based alerts and offers if you’re at Allianz Field, for example. Here’s how to manage those preferences:
- Click on the Hamburger Menu in the top left corner
- Scroll to “My Account”
- Scroll down and you'll see settings to enable or disable different categories of push notifications and location-based alerts.
Live Activities is a fancy new feature that gives you moment-by-moment game updates right on your phone’s lock screen, helping you keep up with all the action at a glance. To enable Live Activities for iPhone:
- Click on the hamburger icon in the top left corner
- Scroll to the bottom of menu
- Click on “Settings”
- Scroll to the bottom of page
- Click on “Device Settings” in the lower left of the screen
- Click on “Live Activities” within your iOS settings page
- Turn on “Allow Live Activities”
- Decide if you want Frequent Updates (you do!)
- Open the MNUFC app on a gameday and enable Live Activities when promoted.
Next home game, while you’re out partying at the Sun Country Lawn Layover pre-match, you can take advantage of mobile ordering and get some grub without having to stand in line. Here’s how:
- Find the A-frame sign on the Lawn Layover and scan the QR code to open the menu.
- Log in or create an account
- Select your items
- Complete payment
- You’ll get an email letting you know when your order is ready
- Walk up to the Grand Casino Brew Hall kitchen window and pick up your food
You’re a one-in-a-million kind of fan, and you deserve to have your own special MNUFC app icon. Here’s how to customize yours:
