For his contributions to a much-needed 3-0 win over the visiting LA Galaxy on Saturday, MNUFC midfielder Emanuel Reynoso has earned a spot on the Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 26.
Following three weeks without an appearance due to injury, Emanuel Reynoso was finally back in the starting XI against the Galaxy. It was clear that the Argentine missed the game as it only took four minutes for him to take a left-footed shot towards the right post and slide the ball past goalkeeper Jonathon Klinsmann, giving Minnesota the 1-0 lead. In the 20th minute, Reynoso took another left-footed strike that curled beautifully before gracing Klinsmann’s fingertips and into the goal for a 2-0 lead. The left-footed midfielder led Minnesota to their first ever win against the Galaxy and now has four goals this season, tied for second on the team with Adrien Hunou.Â
