MNUFC2 and MLS NEXT Pro announced today the full schedule for the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season. MNUFC2 will kick off its third season in MLS NEXT Pro on the road against LAFC2 on Sunday, March 17. The Season Opener against LAFC2 is set for 3:00 p.m. CT and can be viewed on MLSNEXTPro.com.
Following six consecutive matches on the road to begin the regular season, MNUFC2 is set to host regional rival St. Louis CITY2 in its 2024 Home Opener on Friday, May 3 at the National Sports Center Stadium in Blaine, Minn., with kick set for 6:00 p.m. CT. Season tickets for MNUFC2 are now on sale and can be purchased here. Single-game tickets will go on sale closer to the start of the season.
Additional key matchups this season include:
- Austin FC II home contest on July 18
- Colorado Rapids 2 home game on July 26
- St. Louis CITY2 away match on September 15
- Decision Day match at North Texas SC on October 6
A select number of MNUFC2 regular-season matches, plus all MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day matches, playoffs matches and MLS NEXT Pro Cup, will be available to watch live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app. The remainder of regular season matches will stream live on mlsnextpro.com. MLS Season Pass is the subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer that is home to all MLS and Leagues Cup matches and hundreds of MLS NEXT Pro contests.

Decision Day 2024
28 of the 29 clubs in the league will compete on Sunday, October 6, the final day of the regular season. 14 matches will take place to determine final playoff positioning, with eight teams in each conference qualifying for the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs. Eastern Conference matches will kick off at 12:00 p.m. CT, followed by the Western Conference at 3:00 p.m. CT. All Decision Day matches will air live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
Enhanced Pick-Your-Opponent Format
The 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs will feature the return of the “pick-your-opponent” format that debuted during the 2023 postseason. This year will feature more teams qualifying for the playoffs, more teams making selections and more knockout matches being played. Eight teams will qualify for the playoffs from each conference (16 total), with Seeds No. 1-4 in each conference hosting and selecting their opponents in the first round. In the second round, the highest remaining seed in each conference will select an opponent from any of the remaining three teams. This year’s postseason will see 15 total matches, including MLS NEXT Pro Cup.
2024 MNUFC2 Tickets at the National Sports Center Stadium
Single-game tickets for MNUFC2 will be on sale closer to the start of the season. Tickets for Twos’ home matches start as low as $12. Group tickets (of 10 or more people) start at a rate of $10 per person.
