MNUFC2 today announced the team’s 2023 schedule of preseason friendly matches.
The Loons are set to play three preseason contests in the month of February, all played at the National Sports Center Dome in Blaine, Minn.: First hosting Iowa Western on Friday, February 10. MNUFC2 then welcomes Forward Madison FC of USL League One on Friday, February 17 before hosting St. Cloud State University the following week on Friday, February 24.
MNUFC2 Head Coach Cameron Knowles will be made available to media at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. on Tuesday, February 14 ahead of the club’s friendly against Forward Madison. Media who have additional player requests are asked to provide the communications staff 24 hours-notice prior to the training sessions.
All of MNUFC2’s preseason friendly matches will be closed to the public and future preseason contests for the month of March will be determined at a later date. The Loons begin their second season in MLS NEXT Pro action beginning at the end of March, with a full regular-season schedule release also to be determined at a later date.
