No. 6 Minnesota United on Saturday night hosts No. 3 Real Salt Lake in Game 2 of Round One of the Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs at Allianz Field, presented by Allianz Life, Allina Health, Federated Insurance and Target.

To celebrate the first MLS Cup Playoffs match at Allianz Field since the 2019 season, Allianz Field will be filled with activities and several in-game elements that fans will notice, building excitement ahead of Game 2 – a match where the Loons could possibly advance to the Western Conference Semifinal with a win.

Single-game tickets to Saturday night’s playoffs contest against RSL are still available, but are going fast. Fans interested in purchasing tickets can do so by visiting mnufc.com/tickets.

Fans attending the match – similar to the 4-1 ‘Decision Day’ victory on Oct. 19 – are encouraged to wear the color black in an effort to fully blackout Allianz Field.

Different matchday experiences will be showcased before and during the game. Before the match, fans can stop by the Sun Country Lawn Layover for pregame activities and live music. Notably, Poliça, a Minneapolis-based internationally-touring band, is set to perform on the Lawn Layover stage starting at 6:15 p.m. CT. Then, supporters groups will lead a March to the Match, with the march rally gathering outside of “The Calling” loon sculpture at 6:45 p.m. CT, before heading into Allianz Field.

Fans are then encouraged to get to their seats early for the start of the pregame, where fans can have a chance to become part of the show by scanning the video board QR code, which will enable cell phone flashlights to sync to the beat of the music creating a fan-fueled light show with on-field pyrotechnics added to the experience. At halftime, fans will be encouraged to participate in the fan-fueled light show again while also singing along to The Killers hit song, “Mr. Brightside”. Additionally, as fans enter Allianz Field, black rally towels will be handed out at every gate.

In Game 1 on Tuesday night at Real Salt Lake, Minnesota United captured a 5-4 win via a penalty kick shootout following a closely-contested 0-0 draw. Should the Loons earn a victory (regulation or penalty kicks) over RSL on Saturday night, they will advance to the Western Conference Semifinal to play either No. 2 LA Galaxy or No. 7 Colorado Rapids. Should RSL win on Saturday night, the series returns to Utah for a winner-take-all Game 3 on Friday, Nov. 8.
