In the middle of its best run of form since joining MLS, Minnesota United will try to take the show on the road when it faces Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, July 28. The Loons emerged from a very congested couple of weeks with four wins in five games, averaging 2.8 goals per game in that run. They meet a Whitecaps FC side that is returning home after a rough stretch on the road with two losses in league play and one in the Canadian Championship. Red cards and injuries have haunted Vancouver throughout the season, making consistency in the squad nearly impossible. Minnesota needs to start winning on the road if it wants to be in the playoff picture and a result in Vancouver would be a perfect starting point.
