Following its big win last weekend, Minnesota United will try to make it two in a row as it welcomes New York City FC to town on Saturday. Despite a roaring first half of the season, NYCFC has hit a rough patch of form that has caused it to slip out of the top spots in the Eastern Conference since the departure of Head Coach Patrick Viera. On the other hand, the Loons have built up a little momentum with a draw and a win in the past two games, and will look to capitalize against a tired NYCFC team that played a Wednesday game against Chicago Fire. Darwin Quintero’s playmaking ability has helped MNUFC knock off some big teams this season and helped his club to one of the better home records in the conference.
