Match Central
Minnesota United breaks up its stretch of home matches with a midweek trip to the new kid on the block: LAFC. LAFC opened up its home campaign with a win and a draw after playing six matches on the road to start the season. Led by Diego Rossi and Mexico national team star Carlos Vela, LAFC has been among the highest-scoring clubs in MLS this year. MNUFC has been in good form as well and will need to bring it on the road if it hopes to claim points in the league’s newest stadium. Injuries and suspensions have left Minnesota’s starting forward spot in doubt, but the scoring rate from the midfield has proven tremendously important for the Loons so far this season.
