With a current forecast for Saturday of partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers and a high near 48 °F, it seems unlikely that we’ll be in for another #SnowOpener when MNUFC opens its home campaign against the Chicago Fire. While many will no doubt welcome a match for which they won’t have to wear long johns and pants and then another pair of pants and maybe another pair of long johns to TCF Bank Stadium, plenty will miss the chance to buff their Minnesota cred by braving the elements. But rest assured: if you were there for the #SnowOpener in 2017, you won’t soon forget it. And if you weren’t, well, here’s a taste of what you missed.
March to TCF Bank Stadium.
The squad takes the pitch.

Head Coach Adrian Heath on the sidelines.
Fullback Jerome Thiesson joined the team just 48 hours before the home opener last year and has gone on to play every match since.
