Robin Lod earned himself a spot on the bench for the first MLS Team of the Week after scoring Minnesota United’s first goal of the 2022 MLS Season against Philadelphia Union.
The Finnish player scored the first goal of the 2022 MLS season in the 23rd minute from a low cross ball from Franco Fragapane. Lod played the entire 90-minute match, plus nine minutes of stoppage time, averaging a 78.1% passing rate. The forward also tallied five attacking assists, the most by any player in the match.
