MNUFC2 returns to U.S. Open Cup play for a Second Round matchup against the Michigan Stars following their dominant 3-0 win over Chicago House AC. In round one, the Loons took control of the scoreboard in the 52nd minute with a goal from Jordan Adebayo-Smith. Adebayo-Smith made quick work of scoring his second of the night, finding the back of the net only three minutes later. Adebayo-Smith then posed an important question: Why only score two goals in your 100th professional match when you can score three? He marked the occasion with a hat trick in the end, scoring his third goal in extra time to give the Loons an extra boost of confidence in the final seconds of the game. In league play, the Twos have yet to secure a win but have put up good performances and shown their tenacity. For their upcoming match in the historic tournament that is the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the Loons will be playing on a historic field, Allianz Field. For this match, concessions will be limited to Nice Slice in section 29 and The Hungry Loon in section 34.

Please note, only the Bell Bank Southwest Entry will be open for this match. Gates to Allianz Field will be opening at 6:30 p.m.

Parking for this match will be FREE on a first come first serve basis. The North, Midpoint, and Shopping Center parking lots will all be open and available to fans.
