The Loons have landed in Minnesota and will return to Allianz Field to face FC Dallas this Sunday after a long week of road games. Fresh off of an Open Cup win in Motor City that saw three Loons find the back of the net in a span of only six minutes, MNUFC looks to bring their re-discovered scoring form back to league play. Dallas is coming to Allianz Field with a chip on their shoulder after MNUFC recently snapped their streak of 14 straight home opener wins back in February. In their most recent game, the Toros fell to NYCFC in the Big Apple with a final scoreline of 3-1. However, FC Dallas is never down for long and will be determined to get back to their winning ways on Sunday. Make your way to the Midway this weekend to see if the Loons can sweep their Western Conference foes. Can't make it in person? No problem. In-Game Honors
The pregame ceremony will include a national anthem performance by Rachel Washington and the recognition of Laura Kuvaas, a Provider Marketing Consultant at Allina Health and a great community volunteer as the Allina Health Honorary Scoreboard Keeper for the game. At halftime, the club will honor Loreen Lee, one of the leaders of the Urban Bird Collective and a board member of the MN River Valley National Wildlife Refuge Friends Group, as the L'Etoile du Nord. Additionally, Sergeant Sebastian Campbell of the United States Army and Minnesota National Guard will be honored as the Xcel Energy Eye of the Loon.
