Home Opener Game presented by SeatGeek
After a dominant showing in Austin, the Loons return to Allianz Field for the first time this season to take on the reigning MLS Cup champions, the Columbus Crew. While down in the Lone Star State, Robin Lod scored in his first game back after an extended injury, and Alejandro Bran scored his first ever goal for the Black and Blue to secure a 2-1 win at Q2 Stadium. The Crew also come into Saturday's game with three points to their name after a convincing season-opening win against Atlanta United. Historically, Columbus has had the edge over the Loons, but it was raining goals the last time Minnesota and Columbus met, with both sides scoring three goals during regulation. The Loons were sharp from the spot, resulting in a 4:3 PK shootout win and a spot in the next round of the 2023 Leagues Cup. With two hot teams and warm temps on the horizon, you won't want to miss out on the 2024 home opener at Allianz Field. Get your tickets today at SeatGeek.com to experience the excitement (and amazing weather) in person. Can't make it to the Midway? No problem. Stream the game for Apple TV with the MLS Season Pass or listen in on 1500 ESPN.
