After an emphatic 2-0 win over the Houston Dynamo, defender Brent Kallman and midfielder Emanuel Reynoso have earned spots on the bench for Week 18 MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi.
Brent Kallman scored his second goal of the season off another corner kick delivered by Emanuel Reynoso. Kallman is now one of six Loons who have scored two goals for Minnesota United this season. Kallman’s passing accuracy of 87.5% was the fourth-highest on the team.
Throughout the 90 minutes of the match, Kallman retained an 87.5% passing accuracy, the fourth-highest percentage on the team.
After playing on the wings in a 4-3-3 for the last two games, Reynoso was back to commanding the game from his usual #10 position against the Dynamo. In addition to his assist on Kallman’s goal in the 70th minute, the Argentine set the tempo and dictated play, delivering five key passes, winning 47.4% of his duels and putting all three of his shots on frame.
Emanuel Reynoso’s most valuable contribution was in the 70th minute as he took the corner kick to assist Brent Kallman’s goal. The Argentine leads the team with most assists thus far, with a total of six. Reynoso set the tempo and made key passes throughout the match, being a playmaker and coming close to conceding goals for the Loons.
