1. Something that’s on my bucket list …
“I have a lot on my bucket list. I definitely want to travel and watch a bunch of soccer overseas, and definitely go to Spain, Italy, England and France. Do a big tour and see a bunch of the stadiums and stuff like that.”
2. My favorite meal is …
“My favorite meal would probably be my mom’s chili. Now that I am vegan, she probably has to tweak it a little bit, but it’s still the best.”
3. The story behind me going vegan …
“Oddly enough, I went to a FIFA tournament in Toronto and I ended up seeing an Animal Rights protest. I’ve always been interested in trying to moderate how much meat I eat and stuff like that, so I went to the thing, and it was right in downtown Toronto, and I said, I am just going to do it. So from that moment I was cold turkey and just dropped it. It was funny, that day I ate a pound of poutine and chicken and then I was just done with it.”
4. My favorite thing to do in Minnesota …
“Go to Minnesota United games.”
5. I’m scared of …
“I am terrified of spiders. Doesn’t matter how big they are or anything, even the smaller ones. I think that’s why I actually have cats, so they take care of them for me.”
6. One of my pet peeves is …
“When I’m a passenger in someone’s vehicle and they say the seat can move back. I try to move it and it’s already as far as it goes. It’s the worst!”
7. My guilty pleasure is …
“I mean, I am a pro gamer. So, I think staying up all night playing video games is a guilty pleasure.”
8. The best piece of life advice I have ever received …
“One that I always remember: My brother would always give me quotes before sports games and we were into sports growing up. Whenever I would be nervous before a big game, he would always tell me, ‘The feeling in your stomach you get when you are feeling nervous is actually the same feeling you get when you are excited, it’s just how you react to it.’ Yeah, kept that with me my entire life.”
9. My daily ritual is …
“I play FIFA. You know I always hit the snooze button and spend my time with my cats and start my day off that way.”
10. I’m proud of myself for …
“Lots of things to be proud of. Obviously, being able to represent Minnesota United is something I am tremendously proud of and being able to manage that professional life with my already existing professional life is definitely something I am proud of as well.”
