Sunday night was a tough one for the twosies. MNUFC2 took on Houston Dynamo 2 at AVEVA Stadium, and despite putting in a good effort, the home team came out on top with a final scorecard of 1-0. Hopefully, the boys in Black and Blue will be able to turn things around this weekend when they take on Timbers2 at National Sports Center Stadium. Timbers2 is the only team from the Western Conference that the Loons have not yet faced. So far, the boys from Rose City have had a tough time getting the ball rolling during their inaugural season. Currently, Timbers2 are sitting in last place in the west with a record of 1-13-2. Strangely enough, their only set of three points came from a 2-1 win over Dynamo 2 back in June. While MNUFC2 have had better luck so far this season, they will need to get back to their winning ways in order to secure a spot in the postseason. Parking
Free parking at the National Sports Center will be available in Lots F and G and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Gates
Only one stadium entry gate will be available for MNUFC2 games at the National Sports Center. All fans should enter through the North Gate at the National Sports Center Stadium.
Security Screening and Bag Policy
Standard MNUFC screening procedures will be in place for MNUFC2 games at the National Sports Center. Each guest will be subject to walk through a magnetometer, and guests with bags will be asked to open their bags for a brief search. The clear-bag policy will not be enforced at the National Sports Center Stadium. All bags that are 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller will be allowed into the stadium. Guests with diaper bags or medical bags will have their bags checked and then tagged, but will not have size restrictions. There will not be a bag check service available for games played at the National Sports Center. Any guests with non-admissible bags will be asked to return their bags to their car.
Merchandise
The Black and Blue Team Store merchandise truck will be available at each MNUFC2 game at the National Sports Center on the North Plaza.
Food & Beverage
Food and beverage will be available for purchase at all MNUFC2 games at Allianz Field and the National Sports Center. Outside food and beverage will not be permitted.
Cashless Purchasing
For the safety of those attending matches, all ticket and in-stadium purchases will be conducted in a touchless manner.
