Minnesota United will try to sweep its second Western Conference series of the season on Saturday when it welcomes Vancouver Whitecaps FC to Allianz Field. Vancouver has struggled to get momentum and points this year as they are winless in their last eight games and sit at the bottom of the conference. A tough stretch against top teams in both conferences currently has Whitecaps FC on a five-game losing streak, while the Loons are unbeaten in their last five league games. Mason Toye continues to take the league by storm as he has gotten his name on the score sheet in each of those games, and the return of Romain Metanire gives the Loons a boost on both ends of the field.
