Game Central
After three games at home, Minnesota United will hit the road on a trip to the Peach State to take on reigning MLS champion Atlanta United. A slow start to the year has kept Atlanta near the middle of the table, but a string of five wins has brought the team back into the playoff picture in the East. However, back-to-back losses on the road have derailed Atlanta’s good run of form. Minnesota was successful in its last trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but the absence of key defender Romain Metanire due to suspension will require a total team effort to claim points a second time. The Loons haven’t scored multiple goals in over a month, and the offense will need to come alive to keeping up with Atlanta’s explosive attackers.
