After a tremendous 3-2 comeback win over the Philadelphia Union, Emanuel Reynoso earned himself a spot in the starting XI while Franco Fragapane earned himself a spot on the bench for the Week 31 MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi.
The Argentines played crucial roles on Wednesday, with Reynoso provided two key assists in the match. The first was a heel pass to Fragapane who sent a through ball to Adrien Hunou and put the Loons up 1-0 in the 41st minute. In the second half, Reynoso provided another heel pass, this time to forward Robin Lod, who tied the game 2-2 in the 63rd minute. The midfielder now leads the club with 10 assists and has 90 successful dribbles.
As for Fragapane, he not only provided the first assist of the match to Hunou, but scored the game winning goal to give Minnesota three crucial points. The Argentine is now tied with Reynoso with 4 goals this season and has nine assists, just one behind his countryman.
