Minnesota United announced today that four players have been called up to their respective national teams for the September international window.

Goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair will join the Canada National Team as it prepares for the 2022 FIFA World Cup with two friendlies. The first contest is versus the 2022 World Cup host, Qatar on September 23 in Vienna, Austria. From there, Canada will play another friendly against Uruguay in Bratislava, Slovakia on September 28. St. Clair’s first call up to the senior team was in January of 2021 and he made his senior national team debut last summer in World Cup Qualifiers with a 7-0 shutout win over Aruba.

Michael Boxall joins the New Zealand National team for the second time in 2022. Boxall and the New Zealand National Team are slated to play two international friendlies, both against their geographical neighbors Australia. The friendlies are set for September 22 in Brisbane, Australia and September 25 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Kervin Arriaga and Joseph Rosales return to the Honduras National Team for two international friendly contests. The two will first travel to Miami, Florida when Honduras faces Argentina on September 23 before the squad goes to Houston, Texas to take on Guatemala on September 27.

Forward Bongokuhle Hlongwane was called in to the South Africa National Team but will stay in Minnesota due to his injury status.
