Clear some time on your schedule on Friday, February 16; we’re making a whole day out of this thing, thanks to our friends at Target. Following the official unveiling at 8:00 a.m. CT, the Black and Blue Team Store at Allianz Field will be open until 9:00 p.m.
Come by in the morning for a side of complimentary coffee, pastries, and good vibes with your new jersey, and say hi to PK while you’re at it. If you can’t make it in early, come by a bit later to see an LED light show in the stadium, starting at 7:00 p.m.
If that wasn’t already enough to draw you in, the first 150 authentic jerseys sold will also come with two tickets to the match against LAFC on March 16, courtesy of Fanatics. The first 200 purchases—authentic or replica—will come with a limited-edition kit reveal patch, so get to the store quick!
This year, a portion of the proceeds from every jersey sold in the month of February will be donated to the Minnesota River Valley Audubon Chapter, an organization that promotes environmental awareness, education, and advocacy action, especially relating to the wildlife of the Minnesota River Valley. On top of that, the Black and Blue Team Store will be doing a register round-up throughout February, with all proceeds going directly to the same organization.
The festivities don’t end on Friday. On Saturday, February 17, the annual Boot Soccer Tournament presented by Coors Light is coming back to the Great Lawn. Plus, we’ll be streaming MNUFC’s preseason match against Charlotte in the Grand Casino Brew Hall on the same day. So, if you can’t join us for the launch, join us in the snow. Or maybe it will just be grass; seems like winter forgot to bring its blanket this year!
