MLS announced Minnesota United Head Coach Adrian Heath has included on the ballot for MLS Coach of the Year. Heath took the reigns of the club back in November ahead of the club's inaugural MLS season, his second time taking command of an expansion club in MLS history.
Under his leadership the Loons have gone 10-17-6 so far this season are are currently enjoying one of their best runs of form this season with four wins, three losses and two draws in the last nine matches. Heath received league honors already this season when he was included in the Week 5 Team of the Week.
The award is voted on by the players, technical staffers and select members of the media.
