Minnesota United has announced today that it has traded its #1 Allocation Ranking Order spot to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC for $100,000 General Allocation Money in 2018 and $125,000 Targeted Allocation Money in 2018, and an international roster spot for the 2017 Major League Soccer season.

This is Minnesota’s second allocation ranking trade this season, previously sending its #2 spot to the Chicago Fire for the 25th pick in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. Minnesota now holds the #4 spot in the Allocation Ranking Order.

Minnesota United makes its home MLS debut on March 12 at TCF Bank Stadium against fellow expansion side Atlanta United. Fans who want to be there for every home match can join the Itasca Society.
